Active Risk Manager and the process, workflow and document repository for BCM can either be securely hosted by Strategic Thought or you can deploy it internally. The benefit of the hosted option is that this immediately provides resilience to the BCM process in the event of a loss of your IT systems.

Activities

The following activities form the basis of the work that we would guide you through or deliver when typically setting up BCM processes for a customer:

• Identification of critical activities
• Impact assessment of loss or corruption of these activities over different timeframes
• Setting maximum tolerable periods of disruption for each activity, within each timeframe
• Defining strategy options around people, premises, technology, information, suppliers and stakeholders
• Developing plan assessment and self-assessment programs
• Developing the necessary management information and workflow to ensure that management is in control of their BCM plans and understands the current impact of these plans against current threat exposures.

We improve efficiency by delivering both process and software in a single solution:  standard assessment templates are provided to different parts of the organization through our unique document management and workflow solution.

Upon testing of the plans, any deficiency of the plan against test criteria can be immediately escalated to the right people in the organization.
