US gets Local ARM Support (19/07/05)

Strategic Thought to provide local support for Active Risk Manager in North America.

UK based technology company, Strategic Thought Group PLC, opened its first office in the US at the end of 2004. Following a successful first six months the company has announced the opening of a US located Technical Support Desk to provide local technical assistance to a growing number of US customers. With effect from the middle of July the new Support Desk will be open during normal East Coast office hours based out of the Strategic Thought Inc HQ in Washington DC.

Strategic Thought’s Active Risk Manager software product is well positioned in the growth area of enterprise and project risk. Customers include major US defence contractors such as Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman in addition to NASA and the Department of Homeland Security.

Kim O’Hanlon joins Strategic Thought as its US first Technical Support Analyst from the US Department of Treasury where she was a Helpdesk Technician.

Karl Pringle, General Manager of Strategic Thought Inc, said "For the last four years our US customers have been receiving first class technical support from the UK. As we progress our plans for the expansion and standardization of Active Risk Manager within the defence, space, energy and telecommunication sectors we felt it was time to provide a local Support Desk operation. Kim has the ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical individuals and as many of our users are risk management professionals this is essential."

The new Technical Support Desk will be open for business from the middle of July.
