Teixeira In New VP Role (04/06/2008)

Strategic Thought Group appoints Tom Texeira as VP Enterprise Risk Solutions in which role he will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of customers' enterprise-wide risk management frameworks.

Strategic Thought Group plc, the author and vendor of risk management software Active Risk Manager, has appointed Tom Teixeira as VP Enterprise Risk Solutions.  This is a new position within the company.  Teixeira will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of customers’ enterprise-wide risk management frameworks, as well as expounding the benefits of managing risk to reap reward across the enterprise.

Tom Teixeira joined Strategic Thought from Rolls-Royce where he was Head of Enterprise Risk Management with ultimate responsibility for the implementation of Active Risk Manager (ARM) and corporate risk reporting.  Prior to that Teixeira was one of the original members of the Strategic Thought team that kick-started the development of ARM and its related services. He started his career in the Ministry of Defence.  During eleven years at the MOD Tom achieved a Masters in Defence Systems Engineering at University College, London and was given an innovation award for developing a risk management system that was rolled out across major programmes.

Active Risk Manager is currently in use by many of the world’s largest organisations including Network Rail, Lockheed Martin, Nestle and NASA.  Teixeira will drive Strategic Thought’s vision to deliver total risk-reward solutions in throughout industry and government.
